Summary of Experience
We have a professional staff of highly experienced and specialized scientists, environmental engineers, ecologists, biologists, archaeologists, environmental technicians, and support staff. EES’s core business for the past 12 years has been the production of environmental assessments, integrated natural resource management plans, environmental baseline surveys, facility response plans, and forest and fire management plans.
EES has provided continuous support to the Department of Defense, primarily the U.S. Air Force (Air Combat Command), the U.S. Navy, the U.S. Army, and the Air National Guard. Our experienced scientists have been preparing National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) environmental impact analysis support for over 35 years. Our experience includes:
- Environmental assessments for new construction, demolition, repairs and alterations, military housing privatization and other related activities
- Environmental baseline surveys for Over-the-Horizon Backscatter (OVTH-B) sites located in Maine, and for Tethered Aerostat Radar System (TARS) sites in Texas, New Mexico and Louisiana
- Integrated natural resources management plans (INRMP) and updates for over 12 Air Force and Army bases
- Facility Response Plans and Updates/Revisions for military bases
- Forest Management Plans for 15 different Indian Reservations located in the states of Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Nebraska
- Fire Management Plans for 6 Indian Reservations in North and South Dakota
- Archaeological surveys and testing for military bases and private land
- Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (due diligence reports) for real estate developers, banks, and investors
- Habitat Assessments for state and federal clients
- Biological Assessments for endangered/threatened species for Department of Interior and Department of Defense
- Wetlands delineations for both military and private sector clients
- Oil and gas assessments for real estate transactions
- Enhanced Used Leasing and Concept Opportunities Studies for the military
- Air quality studies for military bases
- Bird Avoidance Models and noise contours for Airspace Environmental Assessments for military proposals
